Man of Steel (2013) – Movie Trailers

There are only a few super heroes who haven’t managed to impress at the theater in the past decade, and sadly, Superman is one of them. However, when I heard that they got two of the biggest names in Hollywood to work together on the next reboot, I started to get excited. After all, it isn’t every day that you see Christopher Nolan and Zack Snyder work together on a project. Considering that Nolan is best known for his work on the Batman movies, and Snyder is well known for his work on Watchmen and 300, fans of comic book adaptations have got to be pretty happy right about now. That being said, we still don’t know exactly how Man of Steel is going to turn out. Sadly, this trailer won’t do much to alleviate any fears, as it truly is a teaser in every possible way.

You’ll find no real clues as to the quality of the film here, but at least now we know what the new Clark Kent looks like. Why our first glimpse of him had to be an awkward rendition of Bruce Banner hitchhiking, we may never know. Still, if this teaser doesn’t at least tempt you, I don’t know what to tell you. It’s pretty much impossible to get two filmmakers more renowned for their talents than Nolan and Snyder together for a project like this, so if this movie fails to impress, perhaps a decent Superman movie just wasn’t meant to be. Man of Steel is set to release in the Summer of 2013. Tell us what you think of the trailer in the comments below!
