Turtle Power – Movie Trailer

What if I told you that Michael Bay’s production isn’t the only new TMNT flick on the horizon? What if I told you there was a new documentary being made which explores the true origins of the turtles and their popularity? If you’re a fan, chances are you’re already getting excited. Turtle Power is a new documentary about the turtles, featuring several people who were instrumental in the success of the franchise, including the series creators Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. The film will even feature found footage from the early days of TMNT, giving us a bit of insight as to what it must have really been like for these two creative geniuses to produce such an amazing concept.

That being said, this documentary isn’t going to be content with just giving us a look at how the turtles came to be, but rather how they became so popular. They got just about everyone you could possibly hope for to be in Turtle Power. From interviews with the toy makers to the first ever reunion of the voice cast for the original animated series, this film promises to deliver. Some of the names you can expect to see in this documentary include but are not limited to the following:

Kevin Eastman
Peter Laird
Kevin Clash
Brian Henson
Ernie Reyes Jr.
Michael Ian Black
Steve Varner
John Handy
Steve Barron
Brian Tochi
Paul Levitz
Michelle Ivey
and more!

Needless to say, this is going to be quite an awesome movie. Even if you don’t typically like to watch documentaries, something tells me you’ll want to check this one out. Turtle Power is a must see for any TMNT fan! Sadly, there’s no official release date as of yet, but I’ve been told that they hope to have the film released by 2013, so let’s keep our fingers crossed!
